South Korea's Financial Services Commission prohibited all forms of token fundraising "regardless of technical terminology," and threw in a ban on cryptocurrency margin trading for good measure. Coming just weeks after China's September 4 ICO ban, it confirmed that 2017's token-sale gold rush had thoroughly worn out its welcome with Asian regulators.
