On June 24, 2022, attackers compromised the multisig controlling Harmony's Horizon cross-chain bridge and walked off with roughly $100 million (about $99.7M) in ETH, stablecoins and other tokens. The FBI later pinned it on North Korea's Lazarus Group, who promptly ran the proceeds through Tornado Cash, because of course they did. It was one more entry in 2022's banner year for bridge exploits, which collectively shed over $1 billion.
